Great to meet you!

Many people are simply seeking space to speak their truth, chart a path forward, and begin taking steps. My goal is to help adolescents and young adults thrive amidst stress, uncertainty, losses, and challenging transitions. Much of my clinical work involves supporting young Black leaders (highly involved teens, community organizers, professional managers, etc.) seeking respite to heal and just be - be seen, heard, and understood beyond the public gaze.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and research-informed to ensure services are both responsive and effective. I have expertise in supporting youth who are experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, specifically Black adolescents and young adults. I also have specialized training around trauma-, faith-, or sexuality-related considerations.

What you can expect from me

Sometimes, clients come to counseling not knowing exactly what they want, but they feel like they want something different. That's a good place to start.

I find there's often a need to start with the basics and move from there. Let's name that feeling. Let's clarify the goal. Let's acknowledge how close you are. Let's build momentum toward desired progress. We'll pick up some language, knowledge, skills, and insights along the way.
