Great to meet you!

At times, life can be increasingly difficult to manage and our “go to” ways for handling stress become less effective. As a result, we may begin to experience difficulty with focus, decreased motivation, irritability/anger, or even periods of low mood or high anxiety. If ignored, these symptoms can negatively impact performance at work, in the classroom, across our interpersonal relationships, or even on the sports field. My collaborative approach allows for me to come alongside my clients and begin working through some of life's challenges from day one.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize a solution-focused and mindfulness approach within a cognitive behavioral model of therapy. In addition, I have extensive experience in supporting individuals and couples with past history of trauma through the use of Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD.

What you can expect from our first session

My client population has ranged from adolescent years through late-adulthood. In addition, I have a unique background of working with military personnel and first-responders. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you to achieve your desired goals.

Initial sessions will focus on building rapport and establishing trust as we conduct assessments, establish goals, and begin our work together!
