Great to meet you!

Congratulations, you have made it this far in very potentially finding the right therapist for you. The process is no picnic, I fully understand.

I am a mid-career psychotherapist, having worked in business, politics, academia, and civics for over twenty-five years prior to mental health counseling.

I earned a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern, a B.A. from Columbia, an M.B.A. from NYU, and an M.P.A. from Harvard.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is interpersonal, integrative, and interactional. Interpersonal, meaning individualized and person-centered. Integrative, meaning drawing from various modalities, techniques, and resources. Interactional, meaning dynamic and engaging.

What you can expect from me

Goals, objectives, and outcomes are essential, serving as a foundation for the work that we do. This foundation can be flexible, fungible, finessed, or fine-tuned, however we deem appropriate. After all, psychotherapy is as much an art as it is a science -- and both do best when evolving.
