Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like yourself , you're not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I’m Edwin Agbonavbare, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and U.S. veteran with over 15 years of experience in mental health. I work with children, teens, and adults to address challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, OCD, and more.

My approach is rooted in deep compassion, clinical expertise, and a strong belief in treating the whole person. I offer personalized care that may include talk-based support, lifestyle guidance, and medication management when appropriate, always tailored to your individual needs and preferences.

Clients often say they finally feel heard and respected. My goal is to help you find clarity, stability, and a sense of peace ,at your pace, on your terms.

Let’s take that first step together.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting each client where they are, not with assumptions but with real listening. I do not use a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I look at the full picture, including your symptoms, history, goals, and what actually works for your life.

I combine evidence-based treatment with clinical insight and, when appropriate, medication management. I never push decisions. I explain options, offer recommendations, and work with you to choose what makes the most sense. I treat people, not labels, and I take your trust seriously.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect clarity, honesty, and a plan that makes sense. I focus on helping you understand what is going on and what we can do about it. Every session is a space to be heard without judgment and to walk away with something useful, whether it is insight, a strategy, or an adjustment in your treatment. You will not leave guessing where you stand. I work with you to create real progress you can feel.
