Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I believe overall wellness is key to living a fulfilling and balanced life. My background includes working with both individuals and families, which has given me a broad understanding of relational dynamics and personal growth. I have since shifted my focus to individual counseling, allowing me to work more deeply one-on-one with clients as they address personal challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting change.

My approach to therapy

With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, as a therapist I bring a grounded, no-nonsense approach to helping clients navigate life’s challenges. Known for being direct yet deeply compassionate, I offer honest guidance in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and empowering. My work is rooted in real-world experience, giving me a strong understanding of stress, trauma, personal responsibility, and resilience.

I also integrate a faith-based perspective for clients who desire it, offering care that honors both emotional well-being and spiritual values. Whether facing personal struggles, relationship concerns, or major life transitions, clients can expect a safe, supportive space where clarity, accountability, and growth are encouraged. The goal is not just to cope—but to heal, strengthen, and move forward with confidence and purpose.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me will focus on gathering information to better understand where you’re feeling challenged and what you’d like to change. Together, we’ll identify a clear, shared goal so our work feels purposeful and collaborative. I understand that opening up to someone you’ve just met can feel uncomfortable, and sometimes even difficult. I work intentionally to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and at ease, allowing the conversation to unfold at a pace that feels right for you.
