Great to meet you!

I have worked with individuals who suffers with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and substance abuse disorders. The most profound thing that I've learned is that we can improve ourselves at any point in our lives. I earned my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. As a LCSW, I have worked with diverse and vulnerable populations in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My goal is to assist individuals in reaching their highest potential.

My approach to therapy

Treatment modalities used includes but not limited to psychodynamic, Interpersonal, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Through work experience and training, I have learned to see clients through a trauma-informed lens. My multi-faceted knowledge in safety planning and skilled crisis interventions have improved clients’ functioning in times of disarray.

What you can expect from me

If you are struggling to manage your emotions and it is impacting you or your relationships with others in any way, I can help you. Together we will develop a plan to get to the root of these feelings, process the trauma and challenge your thinking pattern into a healthier more realistic truth. Rather short or long term, therapy is a process and if you are willing to commit to feeling better and step into a healthier version of yourself then it is my pleasure to walk that path with you.
