Great to meet you!

As an immigrant, I bring lived experience of navigating cultural transitions and identity exploration, which informs my culturally sensitive approach to therapy. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years in the tech industry, giving me insight into career stress, burnout, and life transitions. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I also have experience supporting young adults in residential treatment dealing with more acute concerns like severe depression and suicidal ideation.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. I view therapy as a space where you can slow down, explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, and better understand yourself. I am solution-focused and help clients identify practical steps toward their goals, while also recognizing that growth unfolds differently for everyone, so we move at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel both exciting and a little intimidating, and my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. In our first session, we'll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, and you're welcome to ask me about my approach or the therapy process.
