Great to meet you!

With 20 years of experience, my therapeutic focus looks at challenges as opportunities for resilience by identifying client strengths. I hold a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Jacksonville University, an MBA from The Citadel, and an MS in School Counseling and Family Consultation from Stetson University. Additionally, I hold post-masters training in Families, Illness and Collaborative Healthcare, Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling involves three core beliefs: We all have strengths and resources to help build a happier life; every client deserves respect and a safe place to be valued; and there is always hope.

Collaboration and listening without judgement characterize my counseling style. My counseling strengths come from my own life’s challenges, where I learned empathy, an understanding of betrayal, grief, loss, and the value of respectful communication, appreciating difference, and patience.

What you can expect from me

After counseling sessions with me, clients will leave knowing they were heard, that their thoughts matter, and that indeed they can find their way to a happier, more peaceful life.
