Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing therapy to adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and depth, creating a space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and explore what’s beneath the surface at their own pace.

As a first-generation Mexican-American therapist, I’m deeply aware of how identity, culture, and systemic pressures can influence mental health. My approach considers not only internal experiences, but also the social and relational contexts clients are navigating, including family expectations, gender roles, and societal power dynamics.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and depth-oriented, with a strong emphasis on understanding clients within the context of their lived experiences. I help clients develop awareness of their inner world, thoughts, emotions, relational patterns, and nervous system responses while also acknowledging how family systems, culture, gender roles, and broader social forces can shape emotional wellbeing.

I view many coping strategies as adaptive responses to past and present circumstances, rather than personal deficits. In our work together, we explore what has shaped these patterns, identify what may no longer be serving you, and support greater self-understanding, agency, and choice. Therapy is collaborative, reflective, and paced with care.

I primarily work with adults (18+) and have experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family and relationship difficulties, infidelity, burnout, and self-esteem concerns. My work integrates strength-based, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and holistic approaches, always tailored to the unique needs and identities of each client.

What you can expect from me

I prioritize the therapeutic alliance and ensure that my time with my clients cultivates a safe and secure space that will allow them to access the most difficult parts of themselves in a deep and meaningful way.
