Great to meet you!

I graduated with my MSW from Rutgers in 2007 and have 12+ years of experience working with adults and case management with multi-generations of families. I obtained my LCSW in 2016 and realized that CBT and Solution Focused Therapy resonated with me and is the cornerstone of my active approach in sessions. I've attended CBT for Depression and Suicide at the Beck Institute and am continually garnering new ways to provide support to people seeking help through life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

I believe in understanding the root of our feelings, the decisions we make and the transformations that can follow. My ideal client prefers to use Cognitive Behavioral or Solution Focused Therapy interventions and they want to work on increasing coping skills. I tend to work well with adults between 25-60yo experiencing anxiety and depression in an individual therapy setting. I also have a specialty working with Asians who have experienced racial trauma.

What you can expect from me

Before the first session, my admin staff will contact you via text/email to send you a private client portal link where you will fill out our practice's intake forms. This must be completed 24 hours prior to our first appointment. You can text or call our admin staff at 805-910-7455 if you want to rush the process :)

Clients can expect to take away coping skills and have concrete tools to aid them in managing the problems they come to sessions to address.
