Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times — whether you’re coping with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life changes. My role is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to take steps toward healing.

I’ve spent over 15 years working with adolescents, adults, seniors, and first responders. After September 11th, 2001, I worked with the FDNY Counseling Service Unit, supporting first responders through unimaginable challenges. I also spent more than a decade helping survivors of domestic violence and victims of crime. These experiences have shaped my compassionate, practical approach to therapy — one that combines empathy with real tools to help you move forward.

Whether you’re looking to better manage stress, strengthen relationships, or navigate difficult transitions, I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you toward meaningful change. Healing is possible, and growth is within reach.

My approach to therapy

I take a personalized approach to therapy, focusing on building a strong, supportive relationship and tailoring each session to your unique needs. To do this, I draw from several evidence-based methods, including:

  • Strength-Based Therapy helps you recognize and build on your own resilience, focusing on what’s already working well in your life.
  • Positive Psychology emphasizes cultivating hope, gratitude, and meaning, which can shift perspective and improve overall well-being.
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) keeps us future-oriented, helping you set clear goals and take small, practical steps toward change.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused CBT provide tools to identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, reduce anxiety or depression, and process painful experiences in a safe way.
  • Psychoanalytic Therapy offers space to explore deeper patterns, past experiences, and unconscious influences that may still shape your present life.

Together, these approaches allow me to tailor therapy to your unique needs — blending practical skills with deeper exploration so that you feel supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel truly comfortable, welcomed, and free to be yourself.
