Great to meet you!

Starting therapy, whether for the first time or with someone new, can feel like a big step. I work with adults navigating depression, stress, grief and loss, relationship challenges, major life transitions, and difficult changes related to health, aging, or family. You may know exactly what you'd like help with, or you may simply know that something doesn't feel right. Either is a perfectly good place to begin.

With 19 years of experience as a counselor, I've had the privilege of helping individuals and couples better understand what they're going through, recognize their strengths, and make changes that feel meaningful to them. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard and understood while we work together toward greater clarity, relief, and a healthier way forward.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to the person in front of me. Your experiences, relationships, values, background, and goals all matter, and we'll use them to shape our work together rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

My style is warm, inquisitive, and direct. I draw from relational, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and other approaches depending on what will be most helpful for you. We'll explore patterns that may be contributing to what you're experiencing, build on what's already working, and develop practical ways to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong or what you need from therapy before we begin. Sometimes the starting point is simply knowing that you don't feel like yourself, something in your life isn't working, or you're having a difficult time moving forward. We can figure out the rest together.

You can expect me to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and offer honest feedback without judgment. We'll work at a pace that feels comfortable while identifying what matters most to you and what you'd like to change. My hope is that our work helps you better understand yourself, feel more confident navigating life's challenges, and leave with greater clarity about the path ahead.
