Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of extensive clinical experience, licensed in both New York and Connecticut. I specialize in working with high-functioning adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship difficulties, chronic illness, life transitions, trauma, and grief and loss. My background includes specialized training in supporting individuals and families facing medical illness. I served as Associate Director of Clinical Programs at Red Door Community (formerly Gilda's Club) in New York City and as Manager of Cancer Support Services at the Bennet Cancer Center in Stamford, CT, where I provided psychosocial support to patients, caregivers, and the bereaved across the full continuum of care. This experience gave me deep insight into the mind-body connection and the profound emotional toll that health challenges can take. I'm known for creating a compassionate, secure therapeutic space where clients feel truly understood and supported from the very first session.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). When working with couples and families, I also incorporate Family Systems Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to promote healthy communication, increase empathy, and build greater flexibility within relationships. I understand the complex interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors and how those forces shape both our emotional and physical well-being. My approach is integrative and collaborative: I meet you where you are, help you identify your strengths, and work alongside you to build the resilience and tools you need for lasting change.

What you can expect from me

From the very first session, I'll take time to understand your story, your goals, and what you're hoping to work through, whether you're coming in as an individual, a couple, or a family. We'll begin building practical tools right away to help reduce symptoms and improve your day-to-day quality of life, so you leave that first session feeling like real progress has already begun. I'll create a warm, judgment-free space where you feel safe to be honest and open, because the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. My mission is to help you gain clarity, move beyond past hurt, and build a life you truly love.
