Great to meet you!

Hi, My name is Eileen Shaw, a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC). I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist/Licensed Dietitian. I currently work with clients in outpatient programs and telehealth. I am passionate about helping people find clarity, connection, and healing. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-awareness, mood disorders, eating disorder challenges, and depression,

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based practices- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy,(ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Body Image, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Care. I believe that healing happens in safe, affirming spaces where you can be heard without judgment and where small steps can lead to powerful change.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or looking for support, please contact me. Together, we will identify your goals and build practical tools and coping skills. I am glad to help!

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process based on trust, authenticity and respect. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. We can work together to understand how your thoughts and emotions and experiences are connected and how to shift patterns. I will help support you, in reconnecting with your values, deepen self understanding, and creating change in your life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a goal-oriented counseling experience.

From the beginning, we will identify what you hope to gain from therapy. Our sessions are collaborative and structured around the goals that matter most to you. I will provide tools, insight, and encouragement as you move toward meaningful change. You can expect a clear focus on your personal goals, regular check-ins to track progress and adjust direction if needed, a balance of reflection and actionable strategies, and a space that honors your pace, strengths, and values.
