Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and completed specialized training in psychiatry.

I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, thought disorders, PTSD, OCD, and substance use disorders. My background includes working in both inpatient, outpatient, and intensive outpatient settings, giving me a well-rounded understanding of medication management, symptom stabilization, and long-term recovery.

I believe in treating the whole person — not just symptoms — and I’m committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I combine thoughtful medication management with practical therapeutic strategies to help clients achieve meaningful symptom relief and improved functioning.

I work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that respects their goals, values, and lifestyle. I emphasize patient education so you fully understand your options, potential side effects, and expected outcomes.

I believe in a partnership model — you are the expert on your life, and I bring clinical expertise to help guide decisions. This is your journey and I am here to help. My goal is to find the right balance of medication (when needed) with the least amount of side effects, while supporting sustainable progress.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main priorities are getting to know you and building a foundation of trust. We will discuss what brings you to treatment, your current symptoms, past experiences with mental health care, and your specific goals.

I take time to complete a thorough psychiatric evaluation, review any relevant history, and answer all of your questions. There is no pressure; this is a space for you to share at your own pace. By the end of the session, we will usually have a clear plan,

Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, more hopeful, and with a better understanding of their treatment options.
