Great to meet you!

You've spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you've forgotten what it feels like to be supported yourself. Whether you're carrying anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or navigating a major life transition, you don't have to face it alone. I'm Dr. Ej Sit, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, older adults, and families find clarity, resilience, and lasting change.

For more than two decades, I've helped clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and women's issues. I believe every person has unique strengths, even if they're difficult to see in challenging moments, and therapy can help you reconnect with them while creating meaningful, lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation rather than a clinical checklist. Together, we'll create a space where you can be honest about what's weighing on you without worrying about judgment or having to "say the right thing." My role isn't to tell you how to live your life—it's to help you better understand yourself, discover what's keeping you stuck, and build practical tools that fit your life.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Family Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches, always tailoring our work to your goals and personality. Some sessions may focus on learning new coping skills, while others may explore deeper emotional patterns or relationships that continue to affect your present. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, celebrating progress while making room for the difficult moments that are part of healing.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for support is one of the bravest things you can do. You don't have to wait until things feel unbearable before asking for help. Whether you're looking for guidance through a specific challenge or hoping to create lasting change in your life, I'd be honored to walk alongside you. When you're ready, I'm here to help you take that first step toward healing, clarity, and a future that feels more hopeful.
