Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Ej Sit, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, older adults, and families create meaningful, lasting change. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief and loss, relationship concerns, women's issues, self esteem, family challenges, and life transitions.

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. I believe every person has strengths, even during life's most difficult seasons. Together, we'll build on those strengths, increase your confidence, and develop practical tools that help you feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like an authentic conversation, not a checklist. You'll find a warm, supportive, and judgment free space where you can be honest about what's on your mind and explore your experiences at your own pace.

I tailor therapy to your unique needs using evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Family Therapy, and person centered techniques. Whether we're managing anxiety, improving relationships, healing from trauma, navigating life transitions, or building healthier coping skills, we'll create a treatment plan that reflects your goals and what matters most to you.

My focus is helping you better understand yourself, strengthen resilience, improve emotional well being, and make meaningful changes that extend beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what challenges you're facing, and what you hope to accomplish. There's no pressure to share everything at once. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Together, we'll begin identifying your goals, discuss what support looks like for you, and create a plan that fits your unique needs. My hope is that you'll leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and encouraged, with a clearer path toward healing and meaningful change. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or looking for long term personal growth, I'm here to help you take that next step with confidence.
