Great to meet you!

You might be the person everyone relies on — the high achiever, the creative, the caretaker, the first in your family, the one who “has it together.”

Maybe you’re exhausted from performing at a high level in law, medicine, entertainment, tech, or academia. Maybe imposter feelings creep in despite your many accomplishments. Maybe trauma, identity stress, or relationship patterns keep resurfacing. Or maybe you’re navigating gender identity, sexual identity, cultural expectations, or family pressures that feel difficult to navigate alone.

Identifying as LGBTQIA+, from a marginalized background, and likely living at the intersection of multiple identities, you may be carrying stress that others don’t always see.

I work with adults and couples, especially professionals, students, and creatives in high-pressure environments — who want more than just coping skills. They want evidence-based therapy, alignment, and relief from a provider in an affirming therapy space where they can bring their full selves.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, grounded in respect for all aspects of your context and identity, and evidence-based.

In our sessions, you can expect to slow down. We’ll explore not only what’s happening now, but how your history, relationships, culture, and lived experiences shape the patterns you’re navigating. I work from a trauma-informed and multicultural lens, meaning we pay attention to power, identity, and context — not just symptoms.

I often offer between-session reflections or practices so therapy doesn’t just feel like something that happens once a week — it becomes integrated into your real life. I also think it is critical to ensure you have coping/grounding skills to build upon the work we are doing in our work together and draw upon different therapeutic modalities, depending on your needs.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in — but also about you as a whole person. I’ll ask about your history, your health, your relationships, your cultural context, and your past therapy experiences so we can build a meaningful roadmap together. From there we will create goals of what you want to get out of this process together.

Many of my clients remark that their intake sessions are helpful in discussing various aspects of their lives, not just their current stressors. They note feeling heard, understood, and affirmed in a unique way.

That first conversation often becomes the starting point for meaningful change, whether you’re looking for short-term therapy or deeper ongoing work.
