Great to meet you!

I’m Elaina, a bicultural therapist whose own lived experiences shape how I sit with others. Many of my clients carry complex or childhood trauma layered with ADHD, autism, anxiety, or depression. They’re often the deep feelers and deep thinkers—the ones who’ve been told they’re “too much.”

I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship struggles, grief, affairs, identity shifts, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with military families, veterans, LGBTQ+ folks, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds who know that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. My style is warm and human, with steady empathy and a willingness to challenge when it supports growth.

My approach to therapy

My work blends trauma-informed systems thinking with CBT, mindfulness, experiential, relational, and body-based practices—because trauma lives not just in the mind, but in the body and in our relationships.

Therapy with me is collaborative and deeply curious. We’ll look at how your environments, identities, and relationships have shaped you, then create space for the parts of you that have had to go quiet. Healing isn’t about making yourself smaller; it’s about letting your full self breathe again.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is exploratory—a chance for us to get to know each other and see if the fit feels right. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, explore key parts of your history, and begin mapping the systems that have shaped who you are. I’ll base our time loosely on your needs while also gathering what I need to help you most effectively.

You can expect warmth, curiosity, and a grounded presence that helps you start wherever you are.
