Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–R (LCSW-R) with over 20 years of experience in the social work field. Since becoming licensed as an LMSW in 2005 and advancing to LCSW-R, I have developed a diverse clinical background working with individuals across the lifespan in settings including inpatient psychiatric care, medical social work, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and outpatient mental health.
My varied experience has allowed me to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and difficulties adjusting to change. My graduate training included a specialization in health, providing me with additional insight into the connection between physical and emotional well-being.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and respect. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. My approach is individualized, helping clients gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, and build upon their strengths.
I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. My goal is to support clients in creating meaningful change and moving toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
