Elaine Ellis

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have worked in individual and family therapy, and Intensive Outpatient treatment for more than 18 years. I value the unique experiences, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs of the individual. We each strive for our own personal life balance. Sometimes we need a guide and partner to explore how to regain that balance during difficult life transitions or when we feel separate from people that are important to us. And I enjoy being that guide.

I believe that my role as a therapist is to guide you towards becoming the best version of yourself. I have worked with many people who are having difficulties with changes they are experiencing, family and work problems, as well as intense stressors. I have had the privilege to support people in a process of self discovery. My holistic approach to mental health focuses on lifestyle habits; diet, movement/activity, and practices that reduce stress and increase peace and fulfillment.

A newfound sense of self awareness and the ability to work through whatever is troubling you. We all have strengths and inner resources to draw from during difficult times. Together we can rediscover those aspects that can help you move forward and feel more empowered.
