Elcie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master Degree in Social Work from Barry University. Elcie is an EMDR trained therapist. She has been in the mental Health field since 2000 and has many experiences working with children and adults. She has provided therapy for individuals, families, and groups.
Elcie specializes in areas of anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, health and wellness. She utilizes primarily a cognitive behavioral intervention which focuses on changing negative thinking and behavior.
Clients will have their feelings validated and they feel heard. They will learn coping strategies to assist them with life’s challenges. Learning how to think positively will improve client’s overall satisfaction in the direction of their lives.
