Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Eleanor, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and resilience. I work with adults facing concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, substance use, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I also have experience supporting those impacted by homelessness, domestic violence, and severe and persistent mental illness. I earned my Master’s degree in counseling from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and have worked in in both community mental health settings and private practice for the past 6 years.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, collaborative, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and ACT, along with mindfulness and somatic practices. I’ll work with you to co-create goals that align with your strengths, needs, and personal values.

What you can expect from me

I’m committed to creating a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and empowered. In our first session, you can expect for us to get to know one another, while evaluating your needs and goals for therapy. If you're ready to begin your journey toward healing and growth, I’d be honored to work with you.
