Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who focuses on treating acute and relational trauma with teens, individuals, and couples. I have been working as a psychotherapist for over 15 years. I believe that we heal in relationship to another, rather than trying to do it all alone. My style is warm, attentive and an active participant in your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I am a trauma therapist specializing in attachment and relational healing. My work is grounded in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). AEDP is grounded in attachment science and neuroscience, which shows that when emotional pain is met with safety and attuned connection, the nervous system naturally moves toward integration and healing.

I focus on creating a safe, attuned relationship where you can process emotions that once felt overwhelming. Instead of just talking about your experiences, we work gently and experientially - helping you feel emotions with support.

For teens, this means building stronger emotional resilience and a stronger sense of self. For adults, it often involves healing attachment wounds and shifting long-standing patterns. And with couples, we slow down painful cycles, uncover the vulnerable emotions beneath the conflict and foster new experiences of safety & connection with each other.

What you can expect from me

My style is warm, engaged and collaborative. I am active in the room and attentive to what is happening emotionally and in your nervous system in real time. We move at a pace that feels safe. In the first session, my goal is to create an experience of getting curious about what is happening inside of you together. I don't want to just hear stories, I want to help you slow down and notice how you are feeling as you share about your life so that together we can learn more about your internal landscape and experience.
