Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Eleanor! Sometimes anxiety has you overthinking everything, sometimes relationships feel harder than they should, and sometimes you just feel stuck in patterns you can't seem to break. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to figure it all out before we start. I'm a Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist with over five years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship struggles, family dynamics, and life's curveballs. My style is warm, conversational, and direct. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel understood, but also where you're able to challenge yourself, gain a new perspective, and make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), but I'm not a one-size fits all therapist. I want to understand what's happening beneath the surface: the emotions, patterns, and experiences that influence how you see yourself and interact with others. My style is warm, conversational, and direct. Sometimes you'll need validation, sometimes a different perspective, and sometimes a little humor to make a hard conversation feel less intimidating. I'm here to help you understand yourself, recognize patterns that aren't working, and figure out what you want to do differently.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is a place to show up as you are, ask questions, and talk honestly about what's going on. We'll work together to understand your emotions, identify patterns that keep showing up, and build skills to navigate life's challenges. That might mean managing anxiety, communicating your needs, setting boundaries, or feeling more connected in your relationships. You can expect someone who listens without judgment, isn't afraid to challenge you when it's helpful, and genuinely wants to help you make changes that last beyond the therapy session.
