Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported in exploring the parts of yourself and your relationships that may feel difficult to navigate on your own.

I earned my M.S. in Couple and Family Therapy in 2022 through the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at UNLV. My clinical training and professional experience have centered around relational and systemic work, with a focus on understanding how our experiences, relationships, and environments shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others.

I work with individuals and couples experiencing trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, anxiety, and major life transitions. My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, attachment-based therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I’m particularly passionate about helping clients understand the patterns beneath their struggles, process experiences that may still be impacting them, and develop healthier and more connected ways of relating to themselves and the people they love.

I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy and believe that you are the expert on your own experience. My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and create a therapeutic space where meaningful and lasting change can take place.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, relational, and trauma-informed. I believe that our current thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship patterns often make more sense when we understand where they came from.

I love incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients become curious about the different parts of themselves rather than judging or fighting against them. I also use EMDR to support clients in processing difficult or traumatic experiences that may continue to affect them in the present. Through attachment-based work and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help individuals and couples understand relational patterns, attachment needs, and the cycles that can create disconnection or conflict.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor therapy to each client and their goals. Whether we are working through past experiences, strengthening a relationship, or helping you better understand yourself, my goal is to create a space where you can feel safe, curious, and supported throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is primarily about getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and beginning to explore what you would like to be different in your life or relationships.

We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant personal or relationship history, and the goals you have for therapy. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have so that you can get a sense of whether we’re a good fit.

You don’t need to come into therapy knowing exactly what you need or having everything figured out. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard and understood, with a better sense of what you would like to explore together. From there, we can take our time getting curious about your experiences and begin creating a therapeutic space that feels safe, genuine, and uniquely yours.
