Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Elena Dobson, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care in a supportive and judgment-free environment.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health and have experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. My background in healthcare has given me the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across various stages of life.

I believe that mental health treatment is most effective when it is collaborative. My approach focuses on understanding each person's unique experiences, concerns, and goals while developing individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and lifestyle interventions.

My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward improved mental wellness and overall quality of life. Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or managing a long-standing condition, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better mental health.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns without fear of judgment. I work closely with each client to develop treatment plans that align with their personal goals, values, and lifestyle.

I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. I provide evidence-based medication management while also emphasizing the importance of overall wellness, including sleep, stress management, healthy coping skills, and lifestyle factors that impact mental health.

My goal is to help clients better understand their symptoms, identify effective treatment strategies, and feel empowered in their mental health journey. Whether you are seeking support for a recent challenge or managing a long-term condition, I am committed to providing thoughtful, personalized care that helps you achieve lasting improvement and a better quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Together, we establish realistic and meaningful goals that may include reducing symptoms, improving emotional regulation, strengthening coping skills, enhancing relationships, increasing daily functioning, improving sleep and concentration, and building confidence in managing life's challenges.
