Great to meet you!

My path to becoming a therapist began with my own healing. Years ago, I joined a women’s support group where, for the first time, I felt truly safe to speak about my experiences and begin to process the traumas I had carried for so long. That space—held with compassion and care by someone I trusted—changed everything for me. It was through that experience that I realized I wanted to offer others the same kind of support: a place where they can feel seen, safe, and never alone in their pain.

I don’t just talk the talk—I walk the walk. The work I do with clients is deeply informed by my own healing journey. I believe in the process because I live it. I know that healing is possible when we are met with understanding, when we reconnect with our inner selves, and when we learn to hold our own stories with compassion.

Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mother to a beautiful and spirited daughter. Being a parent has profoundly shaped how I view emotional development, attachment, and the power of presence. I take parenting seriously—not in a perfectionist way, but in a conscious, loving way.

Nature is my sanctuary. You can often find me hiking or spending time in any green space that lets me breathe deeper and connect with what matters. Being outdoors reminds me of the healing rhythms of life—growth, stillness, movement, and renewal—all things I try to bring into my work as a therapist.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, my focus is on cultivating self-love and compassion—not just as abstract concepts, but as deeply felt experiences that can transform the way you relate to yourself and others. I don’t take a surface-level approach centered solely on behavioral changes. Instead, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we can gently explore the underlying emotional and unconscious roots of the challenges you’re facing.

I believe that our brains adapt to help us survive the environments in which we grow up. These adaptations often shape the ways we see ourselves, how we treat others, and how we navigate relationships and emotions. Early life experiences can leave a lasting imprint, influencing our sense of self-worth, our emotional responses, and our internal dialogue.

In therapy, we work together to understand and support the parts of you that developed to protect you—especially the inner child who may still be carrying unmet needs or emotional pain. With compassion and curiosity, we make space for all of your parts to be seen and heard, helping you move toward healing, integration, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on creating a safe, welcoming space where you can begin to share what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’re hoping for, whether that’s clarity, support, or simply a place to start untangling what you’ve been carrying. I’ll ask some gentle questions to better understand your story, your relationships, and your experiences, but mostly I’ll be listening with care and curiosity. This time is also for you to get a sense of me and how I work, so you can decide if this feels like the right fit. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and with a little more ease about the path ahead.
