Great to meet you!

With over 25 years experience in hospice, substance use and mental health counseling I offer a supportive and collaborative space to heal. I offer counseling services to adult individual and couples. My clients are often dealing with life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and substance use issues as well as communication and loss of connection in relationships. I am a mom to teen boys and a very large dog and love to garden and be in nature.

My approach to therapy

I believe firmly in the Harm Reduction Model both in our own lives and how we chose to live, and also from a social justice stand point.

What you can expect from me

Contemplating any change can be daunting, but here you are, reaching out, exploring. Change takes time, and seeing a therapist can be the first step along a new path. We can go at your pace, walking together on a path you determine. Whether you are looking at a life transition, grieving a loss, or dealing with a chronic illness, together we will begin the process of examining where you are, working together to shift to a place that brings you fulfillment and to help you reach your goals.
