Great to meet you!

I am a therapist with over 15 years of experience working in the addiction and mental health field.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community and a person of color from a mixed cultural background, I am passionate about providing affirmative treatment. I also have a special interest in working with people who practice indigenous healing, Spiritualism, Neopaganism, and New Age practices.

I am a member of the World Professional Organization for Transgender Health (WPATH).

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy utilizes a variety of skills, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe in tailoring treatment to fit your unique needs, and we work together collaboratively to create your personalized treatment plan.

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and validated.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and start to identify your treatment goals. I will gather some background information and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. Most importantly, we will begin building a trusting, collaborative relationship as a foundation for our work together.
