Great to meet you!
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Webster University, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Florida Christian College. I am deeply passionate about helping people of all ages thrive and overcome life’s most challenging seasons.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, spirituality, parenting, adolescent concerns, and school-related challenges. My approach is rooted in understanding each person’s unique story and helping them move toward meaningful, lasting change.
I grew up in Georgia and moved to Florida 27 years ago when I married my best friend. For nearly 30 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families in a wide range of settings. My experience includes work in churches and parachurch organizations, managing group homes for young men both aging out of foster care and currently in foster care, and advocating for vulnerable children and adults while serving as a Child Protective Investigator, Adult Protective Investigator, and Case Manager with the Department of Children and Families. I have also supported individuals in acute crisis while working in the admissions department of a psychiatric hospital.
Outside of my work, I am the proud dad of three boys and two dogs. I love being outdoors and enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, camping, climbing, running, functional training workouts—and good coffee and a cold beer.
