Elina Alfin

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with several years of experience in the field of mental health, which includes acute care. I specialize in problems of mood (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety (generalized anxiety), and neurocognitive impairments (Alzheimer’s Dementia, and other forms of dementia).

I utilize an integrative approach to treatment to diagnose the root-cause of any issue to create and optimize an individual’s treatment plan.

I believe that fundamental respect and honesty between the patient and provider can lead to a better health care outcome. Overall therapeutic/professional relationship between the client and provider is key to obtaining positive results.

The sessions are designed to make clients feel safe, cared for and comfortable, so that at the end of each session they believe that their needs were met.
