Great to meet you!

I am so glad you are here!

I have decades of experience in counseling and psychology. Upon moving to New York 8 years ago, I began my private practice where I can spend more time with each individual. Previously, in Florida, I worked in the juvenile justice and foster care systems, primarily with adolescent girls. My focus now is working with women struggling with issues related to anxiety, relational issues, and trauma, to name a few. My passion for this work stems from sharing my knowledge and skills to assist in my clients' goals. Helping people uncover resilience, reclaim agency, and thrive is a gift I cherish daily.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach blends warmth, safety, and evidence‐based techniques to meet clients where they are. I create a human‐centered space where adults and adolescents feel seen and heard, then integrate CBT, Internal Family Systems, somatic work, and solution‐focused strategies through a trauma‐informed lens. This collaborative model emphasizes understanding each client’s unique needs, setting clear goals, and teaching practical skills so they can move toward feeling their best and living the life they desire.

What you can expect from me

During our initial meeting, you’ll step into a warm, confidential space where you’re invited to be completely yourself. We’ll start by getting to know each other—I'll learn about your current challenges, goals, and what brought you to therapy, while you get a sense of my style and how I work. You’ll be heard without judgment, and I’ll help you feel seen and understood right from the start. Together we’ll outline a clear, collaborative roadmap for therapy, discuss the evidence‐based tools (CBT, IFS, somatic, solution‐focused) that may support your journey, and set realistic, personalized goals. By the end of the session you’ll leave with a sense of direction, confidence that you’ve been met where you are today, and a shared vision for moving toward the life you want to live.
