Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Elisa Gitan, a therapist and acupuncturist based out of Nashville, TN. I completed my degree at University of Denver, followed by specialized training in forensics and trauma. I studied with Dr. Robert Hare, the expert in psychopaths which inspired me to work with trauma victims.

I am also hold a Masters of Science in Oriental medicine. I have a strong medical knowledge and interest in integrating mind body therapies.

I believe we are meant to expand and grow throughout the course of our lives. I enjoy helping others overcome barriers and harness their personal power and strengths, to live quality lives.

As an expert in the trauma field, I offer science backed approaches and treatments. Focusing on your own resiliency and strengths, I treat therapy as a collaborative process.

My approach to therapy

I offer a non-judgmental, direct, empowering approach to my clients.

I utilize therapeutic approaches grounded in science and research, but are individualized to you.

I initially screen to see if we are a good fit for one another and provide a free 15 minute consultation by video or phone.

What you can expect from me

My ultimate purpose is to support you in achieving your goals for therapy. Our first session will be focused on learning more about you, while coming up with an action oriented plan.
