Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Elisa Kulp, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a deep commitment to helping women heal from trauma, grief, and the pain of relational loss.

Many of the women I work with are carrying experiences that have quietly shaped how they see themselves and the world — whether that's the aftermath of an abusive relationship, the grief of losing someone they loved, or the exhaustion of caregiving for a seriously ill or dying loved one. You may feel stuck, disconnected, or simply worn down by what you've been through. That makes complete sense — and healing is possible.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and paced entirely to you. I draw on EMDR, Mindful Self-Compassion, Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches to help you process painful experiences, rebuild your sense of self, and move forward with greater clarity and ease. I also have specialized experience supporting those navigating terminal illness, end of life, and dementia caregiving — work I feel deeply called to after years in hospice care.

Therapy with me feels like a real conversation — honest, gentle, and always oriented toward what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect to be met with warmth, compassion, and zero pressure. We'll spend our time getting to know each other — I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, a bit of your history, and what you're hoping for. There's no need to have it all figured out before we meet. My goal for that first session is simple: that you leave feeling heard, safe, and hopeful. From there, we'll shape the work together at a pace that feels right for you.
