Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 38 years of dedicated practice, I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and improve their overall well-being. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My professional background spans Child Welfare, Forensic Assessment and Interviewing, Behavioral Health, Family-Based/Rehabilitative Services, and both Outpatient and Residential/Trauma settings. These diverse experiences have allowed me to hone my skills in providing comprehensive, compassionate, and tailored care.

My approach to therapy

To best meet the unique needs of each client, I utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, notably Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Skills and Foundations of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Nationally Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My dedication to my clients extends beyond individual sessions; recognizing the vital role that community and social systems play in the healing process, I actively engage in group therapy, crisis intervention, and family or couples counseling to address the systemic factors influencing well-being. I believe in a collaborative approach, fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges and develop effective coping strategies.

What you can expect from me

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, which provides a strong foundation for my commitment to professional excellence and culturally sensitive interventions. As a seasoned clinician, I bring compassion, deep expertise, and a thorough understanding of the complexities of human behavior to my practice. My unwavering dedication to helping others has allowed me to positively impact the lives of countless individuals and families, and I look forward to guiding and supporting you on a transformative journey toward greater resilience and well-being.
