Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas and Utah. I’m also a Marine Corps Veteran and a mother. I work with adults (21+) who are affected by childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and relationship stress.

Many of my clients feel tense all the time, have trouble sleeping, or can’t shut their mind off. Some are easily startled, feel angry or numb, or avoid places and people that remind them of past events. Others feel guilty for resting, stay in “go mode,” or feel disconnected from loved ones. Many struggle with trust, boundaries, people-pleasing, or feeling unsafe even when life seems okay.

I offer a supportive, steady space where we work together to help you feel safer, calmer, and more in control of your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates person-centered, strength-based, and cognitive-behavioral (CBT) techniques tailored to your unique needs. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain heal from distressing memories.

In EMDR, we use gentle, guided eye movements (or other forms of bilateral stimulation) to help your brain reprocess painful experiences. Rather than erasing the memory, EMDR allows it to lose its emotional intensity, so you can remember what happened without reliving the pain. Clients often describe feeling lighter, more in control, and more present in their daily lives after EMDR.

I also incorporate mindfulness and grounding practices to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress. My goal is to empower you to reconnect with your strengths and feel a renewed sense of confidence and calm.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy is a brave and important step. In our first session, you’ll find a warm, supportive space to share your story at your own pace. We’ll explore your goals and work together to develop a plan that feels right for you.

If you’re unsure whether therapy with me is the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you get started.
