Great to meet you!

You may not think of yourself as a “therapy person.” You may simply know that something isn't working the way you want it to. Maybe you're burned out, struggling in a relationship, facing a major decision, or moving through a life transition you didn't expect. You may have spent years handling things on your own and aren't even sure how to explain what's wrong. I work with adults who want to understand what's happening, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next. You don't need the perfect words to begin.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style draws from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strength-based approaches. Rather than relying on a single technique, I tailor therapy to each person's needs while helping clients build insight, develop practical strategies, and create meaningful change.

Whether you're looking for support through a specific challenge or hoping to better understand yourself, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll just talk. I try to get an overview of you and your overall life and your perspective of the things that worry you. Mostly I'm getting to know you and building rapport and trust. Once we get to know each other, we start narrowing down your goals for yourself and build a plan to get there.
