Great to meet you!

I am glad you have started this journey to explore how you can be your most authentic self and consider your place in this world. I'm a clinical social worker with a pragmatic, client-centered approach, I use techniques to help clients heal past trauma, cope with anxiety and depression, meet their goals, and express their true identity. Much of my clinical experience has been working with LGBTQIA+ as well as pregnant and postpartum people.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy is a space for you to be heard and validated in a way that aligns with your values. Creating a steady sense of who you are is an ongoing journey. We will approach the work through a process of discovery of what gets in the way of accomplishing your goals and feeling secure in yourself to live life with more ease and confidence. Together we can shed values that no longer serve you and strengthen those that do. I will provide a safe nonjudgmental environment to fully express yourself.

What you can expect from our first session

Fundamentally, therapy is about questioning past experiences to determine what is no longer beneficial to you. Initially we will work together to build a trusting relationship that fosters open communication. Then can we explore questions that delve deeper and aim to change negative beliefs and views. I’m excited to work with you to answer questions you may be pondering and help discover the real you. This is a peaceful space that is full of curiosity, compassion, flexibility and a little humor.
