Elisabetta Ambron is licensed psychologist who completed her PhD in psychology and cognitive neuroscience at the University of Edinburgh. Her knowledge in cognitive neuroscience has equipped her with a unique understanding of the relationship between body and brain.
Her background and interests are in psychodynamic theories and in psychoanalytic approach. She fosters a holistic approach in the exploration of the clients’ symptoms. Being an Italian psychologist, she has a deep understanding of diversity and of the importance of considering social determinants for a successful therapy.
Her goal is to create the positive space during the therapy sessions where her clients feel safe to share their thoughts and experience their emotions. She believes that therapeutic success depends on the therapeutic relation, and she is dedicated in to foster trust it her client to explore what is beyond the client symptoms and what are the real uncommunicated needs and desires.
