Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, Harvard-trained, licensed psychology professional in private practice for more than 25 years. I care deeply for individuals: their strengths, wisdom, and their troubles. I help people uncover and use their strengths and past experiences during hard times, including when a person has missed out on important positive experiences. We measure your progress and your experience in our sessions, so we can make changes as needed.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a special form of learning. There are many "techniques," but most good results start with something in clients themselves: their wisdom about what works for them, their past experiences, their preferences. The way we work together will come from each person's knowledge and preferences. Also, we'll measure our work in a simple way to make sure that we're making progress.

What you can expect from me

Clients will take away the feeling that they've been heard, understood, and that our work will be tracked and changed as needed.
