My approach to therapy
Healing happens when the mind and body work together. As your therapist, I combine evidence-based mental health treatments -such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches- with body-based and somatic therapies designed to help you feel more at home in your own body and mind.
Depending on your individual needs, session might include a combination of more traditional "talk therapy" and trauma-informed, body based work such as guided meditations or gentle movements.
