Great to meet you!

As a queer Black, Indigenous therapist, I specialize in queer-affirmative therapy, sex therapy, racial and sexual identity formation, minority stress, and generational trauma. I collaborate with clients through a social justice-oriented, culturally responsive, and systems-informed framework while rooted in a decolonial-based approach.

I specialize in working with adults who are seeking support in identity exploration, navigating grief and life transitions, managing stress and anxiety, gaining affirming knowledge on reproductive/sexual health education, and rewriting the story of one's life and finding how it may fit into the "bigger picture."

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is highly collaborative and individualized, I encourage clients to take an active role in making decisions about their unique treatment experience in order to exercise agency and feel empowered.

My style is informed by Indigenous-based practices (holistic care focused on the connection of mind, body, spirit, and community), anti-racist/decolonizing approaches, Narrative therapy, and Acceptance and commitment therapy.

What you can expect from me

My overall goal with clients is to create an inclusive, non-judgmental space where their lived experiences are affirmed and their emotions validated. Through a collaborative effort, we will clarify your goals and consider tools needed to get there and to cope with the changes ahead.
