Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Elisha (she/they) and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and registered dance/movement therapist in California. I believe seeking support through therapy is a valuable tool that can lead us to a place of deepened self-understanding, greater self-compassion, connection, and peace. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, grief and loss, relational challenges, life transitions, eating disorders, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other neurodivergence.

My approach to therapy

My style is rooted in a somatic, person-centered, and integrative approach. I enjoy collaborating with my clients on their goals and value cultivating a safe space for them to feel seen, heard, and validated. I feel a deep responsibility to provide culturally informed care and do my best to become educated on my client’s diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities. In my sessions, I pull from a number of evidence-based modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, expressive arts therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamics, and motivational interviewing, drawing from my background as both a licensed counselor and expressive arts and movement therapist.

What you can expect from me

Our work together will incorporate learning how survival-based responses shape your experiences and relationships and how to unravel these patterns to foster new, authentic, and compassionate ways of being. I believe healing happens through connection and I strive to create a space that feels grounded, engaged, accepting, and sometimes even humorous. I am looking forward to working with you and witnessing your journey.
