Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a broad range of experience providing counseling to individuals and couples. I graduated from Wurzweiler School of Social Work in 2016 and have received formal training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and over 100 hours of education related directly to Substance Abuse Counseling.

My approach to therapy

My style is eclectic, incorporating behavioral methods as well as insight oriented discussion when relevant. I attempt to embody the principles of unconditional positive regard and respect for self determination.

What you can expect from me

The first couple of sessions will most likely be devoted to collecting information and trying to understand the context, both present and historic, of the struggles you are presenting with. As the sessions continue, particular challenges will be given more focus and treatment strategies will be mutually developed. The only initial requirement is recognition that you could be more than you are now.
