Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a background in Exercise Science, which gives me a unique understanding of the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociative disorders, relationship concerns, couples counseling, and maternal mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum challenges. Many of the clients I support feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or unsure how to create lasting change. My goal is to provide a personalized, evidence-based space where you feel heard, supported, and equipped to build resilience, confidence, and meaningful growth in both your mind and body.

My approach to therapy

No two people experience life the same way, so I do not believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. My approach is personalized, collaborative, evidence-based, and trauma-informed. I tailor each session to your individual goals, strengths, and needs using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. In session, we may work on identifying thought patterns that fuel anxiety or depression, building emotional regulation skills, strengthening coping tools, processing trauma safely, improving communication in relationships, and creating practical steps toward change. My focus is not just temporary relief, but helping you better understand yourself and build lasting resilience.

What you can expect from me

  • During our first session, we will focus on understanding your concerns, identifying your strengths, and clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy. I will take time to learn about your unique experiences, current stressors, relationships, history, and goals while working with you to create a realistic and meaningful direction for care. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociative symptoms, relationship concerns, couples counseling, pregnancy, postpartum challenges, or emotional overwhelm, my goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported from the start. Together, we will begin building a clear plan for moving forward with greater confidence, stability, and self-understanding.
