Great to meet you!

Feelings of loneliness, loss of purpose, distance from loved ones, and grief over lost loved ones or unfulfilled dreams are common experiences. In children, behaviors often signal underlying struggles they are facing. Life can be challenging, and managing relationships can sometimes feel overwhelming. But you don't have to face these difficulties alone.

My areas of specialization include family relationships, children's mental and behavioral health, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, and trauma. With my experience and expertise, I aim to create a supportive and understanding environment where you can feel heard and validated.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a client-centered, solution-focused approach, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. For children, I also employ play therapy, which has proven effective in addressing their unique needs. These methods help you develop new tools for your 'Life Tool Box,' empowering you to navigate life's challenges more effectively.

What you can expect from me

Working with me means embarking on a journey toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. Whether through telehealth or in-person sessions at my Alamosa office, I am committed to providing a supportive, compassionate space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the process.

My goal is to walk alongside you every step of the way, helping you navigate challenges, build resilience, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. If you are ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out to schedule an appointment. Together, we can work toward creating a brighter, healthier, and more fulfilling future.
