Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed therapist for over 10 years and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings in, as well as providing individual therapy to adults and adolescents. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, including complex and serious concerns. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have a history of a mood/anxiety disorder and those who struggle with, or have a history of, self-harm.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, personable, and judgment-free. I believe some of the most meaningful work happens when you feel safe enough to be completely honest—even about the things that may be difficult to say out loud. I will listen carefully, help you better understand the patterns and experiences that may be keeping you stuck, and work collaboratively with you to develop healthier ways of coping and moving forward.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to have the perfect words—or even know exactly what you need—before reaching out. We’ll figure that out together. My goal is to create a relationship where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and safe enough to talk about the things you may not feel comfortable discussing anywhere else. I’ll meet you with compassion rather than judgment, while also challenging and encouraging you when you need it. I’ll work hard with you, but we’ll never lose sight of the fact that these are your goals and your life.
