Great to meet you!

I have been in the human services field for the past three decades, helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges. During this time, I have maintained a private practice and/or provided EAP services in addition to a full-time career. My approach to therapy services is based on nurturing a trusted partnership with my clients and outlining strategies together to achieve goals the client has set for themselves.

My approach to therapy

I am a firm believer that a person’s past plays a major role in who they are today. Since there are countless experiences a person faces throughout their lifetime, I believe there is no “one-size fits-all” treatment plan. Whether it is dealing with trauma, grief, anxiety or depression, I understand it takes time to learn and incorporate effective coping skills to begin the healing journey.

What you can expect from me

My clients are in charge of their sessions. They will set their own goals for each session and can change paths as they see fit. I never tell my clients what to do, I make a suggestion but everyone is free to do what they feel comfortable doing.
