Great to meet you!

I love helping people become unstuck and build a life aligned with their goals and values. Social work is my background, and as such, I believe everyone has strengths we can build upon. Trauma is my primary specialty as I enjoy supporting clients in understanding and resolving the roots of their issues. I also have experience and training in substance use disorders, which I am able to generalize to many addictive behaviors.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I feel strongly about providing evidence-based care and prefer using EMDR, CBT, and ACT modalities in session. I understand each person's needs are unique and will adapt to your goals, strengths, and limitations. Always starting with a person-centered approach, we will collaborate to select the most effective interventions for your needs.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to empower my clients to make positive changes to their life. At the beginning of a session, I may remind you of treatment goals, but ultimately I want to use our session on whatever best fits your needs that day. Whether we engage in intentional discussion of a current problem, skill-building, or processing of traumatic events, I want you to come away from session with greater understanding than when you entered my door.
