Great to meet you!

I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and History. I moved to Texas in 2009 to attend the University of Dallas to study Existential-Phenomenological Psychology. That means, I focus on the human being as a whole, let the client lead the sessions and see the person contextually.

I am a Registered Play Therapist that specialized in child trauma and parent relationships during my time as a therapist. In 2018, I decided to become a Stay At Home Mom to my two children, but now they are older and I am ready to get back to being a counselor again!

My approach to therapy

Do you feel lost, confused, overwhelmed, or unheard? Is your child struggling in school or lacking motivation? Has your family begun to feel disconnected or changed and you’re not sure what to do?

My process towards counseling is to offer a safe place for you to share your lived experience. I strive to serve the community with a client centered approach, which means the client chooses what they explore each session and how. I will assist individuals, children, adolescents, and families with issues related to but not limited to unresolved trauma, anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship issues, as well as clients adjusting to life altering events such as divorce, new to parenting, death of a loved one, and empty nester.
